SERVICES I DON’T PROVIDE

I thought it would be helpful to outline a few things I don’t provide just so we’re all clear!

1. While I happily do laundry and clean kitchens, I don’t provide general housecleaning. But I’m happy to schedule, let in, and pay your housekeeper for you.

2. I totally LOVE kids and I’m happy to pick the munchkins up after school and get them started on their homework, but if they’re under 12 (or would normally have a babysitter in your absence) I ask that you provide another person whose sole job is to keep eyeballs on them. Otherwise, that will be my focus during that time and I will be unable to complete other tasks for you.

3. I don’t resell items on eBay, Craigslist, etc. but we can find a service for you that does, no problem!

4. I don’t undertake closet or room clean-outs without my client present. I’m happy to tackle this job with you, but I’ll need you there to make important decisions like, should you keep grandma’s mink stole from the 1930’s or the boxed set of Friends DVD’s? Consider me the bestie that’s going to pick up coffee on the way to your house, get you started, help you sort and bag everything, keep the project moving, snort-laugh with you when we discover the velour jumpsuit (it was a thing), and get it done by 6 p.m. because thesemargaritasarentgoingtomakethemselves. 

5. I don’t shop with a vague list. I’ll help you narrow down the specifics of what you want before I head out to pick it up because, when it comes down to Aunt Myrtle’s 85th birthday, your guess is going to be better than mine.

6. I don’t provide administrative or office services such as social media marketing, inbox management, writing emails, creating Excel spreadsheets, etc. I’m happy to brainstorm and strategize about small business (especially if you have a creative or online biz) but I don’t offer admin/VA services. Exception is collecting RSVPs for an event I’m helping you plan.

I AM NOT A FIT FOR:

• Someone who needs a Girl Friday/errand runner, available randomly by the hour.

• Someone who is looking for an impersonal concierge or errand service, hireable by the task.

• Someone who isn’t looking to hire a long-term personal assistant. My service is set up for anyone who needs an assistant 1-4 days a week for the next 3+ months.
