Q. I need to hire someone who is flexible enough to have a “no job is too small” attitude, yet experienced enough to perform with a high level of competence and follow-through. Can you do both?

Yes. I approach my work with a whole person/whole life philosophy, meaning, every person with a thriving, successful life has both big and small tasks to handle and I want the whole picture of your life working together in harmony. It’s my pleasure to take care of all the details of my client’s well-being and can be counted on to complete each task with excellence.

Q. How do I know you and I will be a good fit?

Choosing an assistant is a personal decision and I want you to feel confident I will do a superb job for you! I have been working with people for the past several years to help them organize and streamline their lives, so I know exactly how to handle any situation thrown my way. Second, take advantage of my free 30-minute consultation call (or in-person coffee!) and let’s get to know each other. It’s important that we are a good fit. Ask me any questions you have. I’m happy to be interviewed and think speaking with someone can reveal a lot. Lastly, I put myself through a very detailed vetting process for you: I’ve drawn up a service agreement for you to review that outlines the kind of professional service you will receive for me; I come to the first day of work with an NDA signed by me protecting your privacy; and have constructed a super detailed service page of what I do/don’t do so there will never be any surprises. Your comfort and trust is my top priority.

Q. My life is chaotic. . . I feel embarrassed by what you might see.

Please don’t sweat it, honestly! I have no judgment about messes, chaos or life gone awry – and am here to help you get things back on track.  I understand the pain and frustration of living and working in an environment that is not supportive or reflective of who you want to be, and that is why I became a personal assistant. Also … I’ve seen worse (you’ll have to trust me on this). I will also be honest with you and let you know if there’s a task that is out of my ability – but together, we’ll find someone who can handle that particular task. In other words, I got you.

Q. Can I hire you for just a few tasks?

No, unfortunately I don’t operate as a Girl Friday. My services are suited for someone who needs continuous personal assistance at least 1 day a week for three months or more.

Q. What is your rate and how often do I pay you?

My rate is $40.00/hr with a five-hour minimum on each day we work together. I’m happy to work overtime hours or on weekends for $50.00/hr. You will place a non-refundable deposit of $150.00 to secure your first work day with me which will go toward your first hours. After that, payment is due each Friday by 4 p.m. for the week ahead by direct deposit (preferred) cash, check or Venmo.

Q. How does scheduling work? Do I get the same days every week?

Yes – you will have a dedicated spot on my schedule and your day/s will stay the same every week.

Q. What if I need to change my hours, add days, or cancel service?

I just need one week’s notice to do any of the above. You are not locked into a long-term contract – we go week-to-week. I can change or add days (subject to availability) and will be happy to accommodate you!

Q. What about illness or unexpected absences?

Our agreement is for continuous work, week-to-week. If you are sick, have a wonderful, last-minute opportunity to travel, or are otherwise called away, you are still obligated for payment for our regularly scheduled work hours during the time you are recouping or away. However, I am happy to work on projects in your absence and fulfill the work you would have me do. If I am sick or have an emergency and cannot work, I will make up those hours to you during a mutually agreed-upon time.

Q. Do you have your own transportation? Clean background check, insurance, clear driving record?

Yes to all of the above! I hold a valid driver’s license, have a clean driving record, and have reliable, insured transportation. I will use my car when I’m on the job with you. The first 10 miles I drive each day are free and after that will be billed at $0.75/mile. This will be logged on the Daily Work Sheet, which I will turn in to you at the end of every week.

Q. You will be privy to some personal information as my assistant. How do you guarantee my privacy?

Your personal information is completely safe. I don’t keep passwords, bank information, or any sensitive details on my computer, phone, or elsewhere. I will also be bringing a signed NDA that legally binds me to confidentiality about anything pertaining to your personal, family, or professional life.

Q. If you make purchases for me, how do you pay for things?

I am happy to shop and place orders for you. In those instances, you will provide cash before the errand, or a credit card that I may use, or payment arrangements can be made between you and the vendor directly. I do not pay for expenses out of my own accounts and “expense report” it to you later. In the case of cash, I will give you a written receipt upon receiving it, as well as receipts of purchase and the change directly after the errand. No cash will be held for later days.

Q. Do you have a service agreement/contract?

Yes, I do, and you can download a copy right here. The agreement is given to you to ensure you know how everything works and are happy with the arrangement. It will be signed by both of us after we meet and confirm the tasks I will be doing for you, and kept on file for the duration of our work together.

Q. Do you have a waiting list?

Yes, I do maintain a waiting list when I get full.

Q. How do I get started?

Here is the step-by-step process:

1. REACH OUT.

Contact me through the form below. I will respond within 24 hours and set up an introduction phone call.

2. INTRODUCTION CALL OR COFFEE.

We’ll talk for 30-45 minutes by phone (or meet in person for coffee) where you can describe your specific needs and ask any questions you might have. If we think we’re a great fit (which, c’mon, we probably are!), we’ll pick a weekly schedule for you and choose the first day of work. I’ll send you the Service Agreement and an invoice for $150.00 to secure your first day on my calendar.

3. MAKE A DEPOSIT + SECURE YOUR SPOT.

Once you pay the deposit, you will be confirmed on my schedule. (Hooray!)

4. FIRST DAY OF WORK.

On our first day of work, I will come to your home or office and we’ll get started. First days are unique for everyone. Sometimes we hop right into tasks, and other times I spend time strategizing and talking with the client. We’ll do what’s best for you.

5. WE’RE ROLLIN.

At the end of the week, you’ll receive an invoice with my timesheet and payment will be collected Friday. We’ll talk about next week’s tasks (if there are any changes), do it all again, and live happily ever after.

Q. WAIT!!! Are you still life coaching?

No, I am not taking new life coaching clients at this time. However, if you are one of my Personal Assistant clients you will have one-on-one access to me and all of the tools I have on my belt.

Q. Okay, but are you still teaching Kundalini Yoga?

YES! I teach Monday mornings at Conscious Body from 9-10 AM. I would love to see you there. And oh...my PA clients get to come for only $5!
